Was reading up on French foreign policy up from Richelieu to the end of the first world war... and I was tearing up a bit, which isn't unusual for me when reading history but isn't something I wanted to be doing in public. Poor France! His cooking's great and so is his history but it's terrible how things just went wrong for him.

But I agree. There should definitely be more serious!France fics. He rocks at it, really.
