That repetition of Light was so beautiful, I love how much of a visual writer you are. It really intensified the effect of the bomb's explosion for me. Also Feynman is a cool dude. The goggle part I didn't know; shows how much you can learn this fandom. I think I got more out of the beauty of your writing than what you were writing about, but I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing; it means you'd be a fantastic bullshitter if need be. (Though with the amount of research you obviously do, I doubt you'll be needing to anytime soon)
