I really love how you wrote them, with Francis' way of thinking, and Arthur's. It does make one think about the boundaries of nations. Or a cluster of nations being under a larger unit, like the EU. Worried about losing their identity, which I believe is also not just something only France worries about, but other nations too. The anxiety of being assimilated into other culture, so much that their own is lost and so mixed up.

Some mightn't mind the inter-cultural thing, the more the better, making it unique. It's really interesting to read about such different views and opinions from this two. Cause from where I'm from, there is always the sense of wanting to mix together with other cultures, yet also keep one's own identity at the same time, and also wonder just how much has changed and is truly yours.

Nonetheless love this! You should write more FrUK. ^^
