Title: Kill All Sons Of Bitches
Originally posted: Here, for one of the homeless [livejournal.com profile] hetaliasunshine prompts (which I've only just now looked at ^_^;). Originally requested by [livejournal.com profile] hakuku.
Length: 3000 words.
Characters/Pairings: America/England, Prussia/Hungary.
Premise: Hetalia/Left 4 Dead crossover! (Okay, technically a Left 4 Dead 2 crossover.) For non-gamers: that means there's zombies.
Time period: THE ALL-TOO-NEAR FUTURE.
Smuttiness: 0/10
Funnyness: 4/10
Wrist slashiness: 5/10
Warm-and-fuzziness: 2/10
Lolhistoryness: 0/10
Violence: 7/10
Would I like it?: If you've played Left 4 Dead or Left 4 Dead 2, you'll pick up a lot of references, but otherwise you can just read it as a typical zombie apocalypse fic (minus the omake at the end). Bonus points to the first person who knows what campaign they're in!

Yeah, I don't know.

Title: Here Lie We
Originally posted: Here, for the CMC Event at the [livejournal.com profile] russiamerica comm. ♥ Prompt: Propaganda.
Length: 1,400 words.
Characters/Pairings: Primarily England. Also, America. Implied Russia/America.
Premise: Unsure what it might accomplish, England loans America a book that has only become more relevant with time.
Time period: 1984, of course.
Smuttiness: 0/10
Funnyness: 0/10
Wrist slashiness: 5/10
Warm-and-fuzziness: 0/10
Lolhistoryness: 3/10
Violence: 1/10
Would I like it?: It's a lit fic! Every fandom writer who aspires to be really overbearingly pretentious has to write a lit fic sooner or later. This one's mine! Definitely will be more obtuse if you're not familiar with George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four.

I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out, since I didn't really know what I thought England looked like 4 realz before I started it.

But goddamn, England. Haircut. I'm serious.

Headcanon: France broke England's nose in three places at the Battle of Castillon (which took place not too long after England had burned his girlfriend at the stake). The French victory at Castillon ended the Hundred Years War, threw the English off the European continent, and ended English territorial ambitions on the continent forever. If you ask England about why his nose is slightly crooked, he has no idea what you're talking about and it must just be the light in here.

It was possibly the most satisfying crunch of France's life.

Length: 2400 words.
Characters/Pairings: Antarctica OC; also England, Norway, America, Russia, France, and a slew of brief appearances from others.
Premise: Check it out, you guys! Antarctica!
Time period: 1908-2004.
Smuttiness: 0/10
Funnyness: 4/10
Wrist slashiness: 3/10
Lolhistoryness: 7/10
Violence: 0/10
Would I like it?: It's about an OC (possibly bad) and it has penguins in it (obviously good). It's up to you how you balance those things against each other.

Title: All The Time In The World
Originally posted: Here, for [livejournal.com profile] ghostofthemotif for her reverse request post. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] lilichen for bravely providing me with some French profanity. *grins*
Length: 2500 words.
Characters/Pairings: England/France.
Premise: Here's the prompt - "England/France. The two nations discuss whether or not they believe a 'united world without borders' would result in their deaths, or if they'd be freed from their responsibilities and able to lead a normal life. Wishes for their future, fears for their countries, and grudgingly comforting words would be nice inserts." I did my best!
Time period: Modern.
Smuttiness: 1/10
Funnyness: 3/10
Wrist slashiness: 2/10
Lolhistoryness: 2/10
Violence: 0/10
Would I like it?: It's basically a rambly, philosophical conversation between a couple of cranky old married people. It's also my first time writing for this pairing--I hope I did all right.

Some of you may have been wondering why the fic has dried up around this joint all of a sudden. "Whyfor this bullshit?" you may well ask.

The answer is that my husband bought me The Sims, the "life simulator game" in which you make little people, put them into a little town, and guide them through their little lives, hopefully helping them to achieve their hopes and dreams along the way. (There is another school of thought, wherein The Sims is more akin to a diabolical social experiment, designed to test the limits of human misery, but that's a sordid sort of business and it will not be countenanced here.) It's utterly banal and strangely fascinating, and then two weeks of my life disappeared.

But that's not the end of the story. After all, I wouldn't be putting this in my fanworks journal if I was just "playing The Sims."

I've been playing Hetalia Sims.

Length: 3,400 words.
Characters/Pairings: UK/US
Premise: The request was for a dominant, yandere!UK, with noncon, set around America's birthday.
Time period: Modern.
Smuttiness: 7/10
Funnyness: 0/10
Wrist slashiness: 7/10
Lolhistoryness: 0/10
Violence: 5/10
Would I like it?: This story presents UK/US in an extremely unhealthy light, and includes noncon, bondage, violence, and asphyxiation. It's very dark, and if any of that is likely to upset you, please, by all means, give this one a miss.

Before anyone asks: yes, I do feel guilty for writing this.

Originally posted: 4/30/09, on [livejournal.com profile] wizzard890's journal, as a "you're stressed and I have a couple hours to kill, have some fic" thing.
Length: 1,500 words.
Characters/Pairings: America, England. Implied Russia/America.
Premise: Russia and America's relationship is changing America, and not for the better, as far as England is concerned. America takes a guess at why he's really so upset, and it involves roleplay, possessiveness, and Russia's latest 'gift.'
Time period: It's AU stuff, indefinite future.
Smuttiness: 0/10, unless I get points for ~weird pseudosexual vibes.~
Funnyness: 0/10
Wrist slashiness: 5/10
Lolhistoryness: 0/10
Violence: 0/10
Would I like it?: Russia/America shippers should be pleased. America/England shippers...uh...less so. Those of you who ship both...mixed feelings, I guess? Christ, it's going to be this, and then that scary yandere!England prompt from [livejournal.com profile] crosswhisper. I'M SORRY, US/UK FANS! I LIKE ENGLAND REALLY!

Title: That's Just Sick
Originally posted: 2/4/2009, on the kink meme. Link
Length: 2,300 words.
Characters/Pairings: England/Hungary
Premise: The request was for "heterosexual sex in the missionary position." After I laughed for five minutes, I decided to write this.
Time period: Modern? It's crack.
Smuttiness: 4/10
Funnyness: 8/10
Wrist slashiness: 2/10
Lolhistoryness: 0/10
Violence: 2/10
Would I like it?: It's so, so meta, I really can't apologize enough for how meta this is. Also, there is no sex in it. Okay? There is a tasteful fade to black. So don't come to me whining about what a rip off this is. You've been warned. It's mostly just me riffing on how very strange the kink meme can be, with my first ever appearance of blushy England. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Title: The System
Originally posted: 2/23/2009, on the kink meme. Link
Length: 1,600 words.
Characters/Pairings: Russia, America, England, France.
Premise: The Europeans are practicing their fencing, and then America catches Russia at something rather unusual.
Time period: Modern.
Smuttiness: 1/10
Funnyness: 5/10
Wrist slashiness: 0/10
Lolhistoryness: 3/10. Systema is a Russian martial art developed for Spetznaz, which is so effective at unbalancing and redirecting one's opponents that when it was first demonstrated in the West, many accused it of being a tool of Soviet propaganda, and not a fighting system at all. To an outside observer, attackers approaching a Systema master often look like they just fall down for no reason.
Violence: 4/10
Would I like it?: It's candy for Systema fans, but there's also plenty of America being a smartass and enduring unresolved sexual tension with Russia. Fans of fencing might also get a kick out of it.

Time period: Modern.
Smuttiness: 3/10
Funnyness: 5/10
Wrist slashiness: 4/10
Lolhistoryness: 2/10
Violence: 0/10
Would I like it?: It's pure fluff. EDIT: Okay, maybe the srs business disqualifies it as fluff. But it's happy! Man, what do you people want from me.

Title: Burn It Down
Originally posted: Here, for kanae as my half of an art-for-fic trade.
Length: 1,900 words.
Characters/Pairings: UK, America.
Premise: War of 1812; the burning of Washington DC.
Time period: 1814
Smuttiness: 0/10
Funnyness: 0/10
Wrist slashiness: 7/10
Lolhistoryness: 5/10. It was so called the White House prior to these events.
Violence: 5/10
Would I like it?: It's a hatefic. So, bleak. Lots of ~subtext,~ though, if that's the sort of thing you're into. Makes passing mention of the France/US relationship here.

Title: Boston
Originally posted: Here.
Length: 3,200 words.
Characters/Pairings: UK/Colonial!US
Premise: Ideological differences are about to tear England and America apart, but who cares about that? They have sex, is my point.
Time period: 1774
Smuttiness: 7/10
Funnyness: 0/10
Wrist slashiness: 5/10
Lolhistoryness: 8/10, but nothing that should leave you scratching your head and alt-tabbing for Wikipedia. Non-Americans might miss out on a line if they don't know that the Quartering Act of 1774 stated that the townships of Massachusetts were responsible for providing housing for British soldiers (although contrary to popular belief, that didn't mean British soldiers could stay in people's private homes without permission).
Violence: 0/10
Would I like it?: It's more dysfunctional, wrenching, colonial era relationships.

Originally posted: Here.
Length: 2,500 words.

Premise: Mafiatalia goes to talk to America about Marshall Plan aid repayment.
Time period: 1953
Smuttiness: 0/10
Funnyness: 0/10
Wrist slashiness: 3/10
Lolhistoryness: 6/10. It might help to know that Bonn was the capital of West Germany during the Allied occupation, and that the London Debts Agreement, which passed in 1953, did in fact reduce the amount of Marshall Plan aid Germany was expected to repay.
Violence: 7/10
Would I like it?: It's longer and more depressing than parts 1 and 2, and maybe a little less violent, but otherwise it's more of the same.
